San Francisco

We seem to have a habit of making our first day of jet lag full and today was no exception.
With it being 50 years since Martin Luther King's "I have a Dream"speech we visited the memorial and reflected on his words.

Then we were off on a red bus tour.

24 carat gold on top of this building.

The streets of San Francisco with the interesting variance of architecture makes for an interesting tour.

Golden Gate Bridge spends much of it's day in fog and today was no exception.

Another grand building.

These little cottages were part of the army barracks, now national park. You can rent them for around $20K a month !

The Hard Rock Cafe is always good for a meal and a look at music memorabilia. We met another young Aussie couple here - bit hard to miss when he was wearing a QLD state of origin jumper !
We decided as the sunset it was time to get on the bus and head back to our hotel to sleep off some jetlag. Well that was until as the bus rolled out and a voice says welcome to the 3 hour night tour of San Fransisco !! That is it after a 15 hour day - tomorrow more of SF.
