GOLF IN DUBAI STEERS - 5 MONTHS LATER

Ok so here we are 5 months down the track with our steers we are following from January.

Now for new comers it might be good to refresh by going to the original story first at
GOLF IN DUBAI ANYONE ?

Lets look at both the old and new paradigm :

BUY/SELL
January - Bought 360 kg Steers $691 -$1.91c/kg
Costs -Frt plus 20 weeks grass $85 (let alone any drench etc)
Now owe us 5 months later - $776
Market for 435 Kg (15kg wt gain/ mth)

hmm here is a challenge ?

Wagga : 435kg @$1.85/Kg = $805
Tamworth :435kg @ $1.73/Kg = $751
Remember we took them from Wodonga to Nth NSW,however big difference in price to cover frt back to Wagga.
So we HOLD for the production and more money.
Remember his goal was to sell in August at $480kg.

SELL/BUY

Remember a Diligent KLR Marketer would have kept his money for better times back in January, however what if you only found out about KLR 5 months after the event of buying the weaners.

Sell 435 kg Steer $1.73 /kg - $751/hd
Buy 170 Kg Steer $1.83/kg - $311/hd

Less COG $204.74/hd (watch video to see details)
Profit $190 - 42 % ROC - 42% anualised

0r

Sell 435 kg Steer $1.73 /kg - $751/hd
Buy 303 Kg Steer $1.56/kg - $473/hd

Less COG $204.74/hd (watch video to see details
Profit $95 - 17% ROC - 33% anualised
So there you go a 5th opportunity to turn the trade around & yet you can think - no options !!!

The idea is for you to learn the principles as there are a multitude of options and it shows there always opportunities to Sell Overpriced Animals and Buy Underpriced Animals.

Watch the video to see more on this trade.
