Trout Mayhem on Roaring Fork

Last Tuesday we were standing in the Big Horn Montana when a fisherman beside us suggested Basalt and Frying Pan Anglers would be a good stop. We found this hidden gem of a spot near Aspen Colorado where the Frying Pan and the Roaring Fork rivers meet.
So Sunday we floated the Roaring Fork with Raphael on his raft, starting the day with streamers which Ros had done a little of and Grahame had never thrown a streamer.
After a quick lesson we were on our way and the action was amazing and exciting when those fish hit a streamer. We lost count but it was something like 12 or 13 all browns except a rainbow.
Raphael gave us an amazing day of fishing and experience that we will remember forever.

Ros caught this Crazy looking guy !!
The Sex Dungeon Master was our tool of trade !

Grahame caught this pretty Brown

All the while we had this as our backdrop.

Thanks for a great day Raphael, can't wait til next time.

Colorado now joins Idaho, Montana and Wyoming where we have caught some beautiful fish on some amazing waters with amazing people.
