Sedona to San Diego

This post is the final leg of our trip to the USA and includes the final leg from Sedona to San Diego.

We found this little squirrel near Red Rock Crossing Sedona.

Sedona is the centre of several Vortex's and these stone cairns were
also near Red Rock crossing.

Then we were on the road to San Diego via arid Arizona.

Plenty of Cactus along the way.

This looks like we were in the middle east with massive sand dunes.

Our destination was Coronado island in San Diego - only thing
we had negotiate fast moving 60 mph traffic with many lanes and
cross this bridge !!
We were able to participate in a sunset cruise complete with a band which
provided the best way to see the harbour.

The band playing on our cruise.

A look at the city of San Diego across the bay.

The view outside our motel room looking south.

The view outside our motel room looking North.

San Diego is the home of the USA Navy and this aircraft carrier
is a tourist attraction.

This amazing dining table had a fire in the centre to sit around.

Daytime view from Coronado Island

This final shot is at Santa Monica beach north of LAX.
We stayed our final day at the Hilton near LAX a great move
to be rested for the flight home.
