Winter is closing in here at Bathurst and I was checking out the range of woollen underwear at icebreaker, a product I have come to trust to keep me warm.What I found was a very interesting company profile and marketing program which includes the ability to type in the BAAA code on your singlet and track it right back to the actual farm it came from.Now you would think it would be Australia doing something like this,but no while our industry fights and blames everybody,this New Zealand company has gone out there and created their brand.
They beat us in the Rugby and I gotta say they are beating us at marketing wool.(There you go Erina,I said it).
After spending time folowing what they have done and the video story's it caused me to set a goal to check out this rugged merino growing area sooner rather than later.
